My Land Rover journey began three decades ago when my parents bought a 1970’s Series III. Despite its reputation for unreliability, I was captivated by ‘Prue’ and my love of Land Rovers was ignited.

At the age of 16 I got my hands on my own Land Rover and I dedicated a year rebuilding her on a gravel driveway in Cornwall. Today, 25 years later, I still own (and cherish) her.

Since moving to Australia, other Land Rovers have joined the fold including; ‘Old Girl’, my 109” Series IIIA, ‘Tray-back’, my 109 ute and, an as yet unnamed, 80-inch (you can follow our adventures over on at @dobbo_down_under’).

My passion for Land Rovers has led to my appointment as Australian ambassador for both, Exmoor Trim and Autosparks Ltd - two UK based companies that specialise in quality parts.

Additionally, I contribute as a columnist for Land Rover Monthly Magazine, where you will find my insightful vehicle reviews, product recommendations, and exciting tales of exploration.

Now based in Brisbane, I operate a specialised workshop that focuses on the preservation and restoration of classic Land Rovers, spanning from 1948 to 2015. Our mission is to delivery meticulously crafted vehicles built to the highest standards.

With my extensive knowledge and unwavering passion for these iconic vehicles, I offer a unique level of expertise and understanding.

Let’s embark on a journey together and create your dream Land Rover.
